That was the hinge I used on the Ballad lids ... sorry about that!
I looked through my photos and came up with pictures of the aft locker http://www3.telus.net/sailing/afthinge and the side locker http://www3.telus.net/sailing/sidehinge hinges, and they are flat like this one Stainless steel shortside hinge 2-1/4" with Thickness 1/8". I remember I bought one each of a couple of types and sizes to finally get the right ones.
