Hi
england is not very far by mail.Steve is very prompt in sending parts.
Besides I don't know if they are available anywhere else.
Pumping grease into the fitting is a temporary solution that can be dangerous
and messy. Grease flying off of the shaft will make a mess of the bilge. If
the grease plug that is holding back the water lets go the boat will flood.
I rebuilt my combi last spring, it's not too complicated or expensive when
the alternative is considered.
