Dear Kalle,
Inasfar as I understood the front deck has been discoloured.
I also have a Vega which is 25 years old now. Its not surprising the
the deck starts to discolour under the sun rays during so many years. I
had more ofr less the same problem, and decided to paint the deck with a
monourethane paint.
Its quite a job, one has to remove the fittings first, clean the deck and
sand it with a suitable machine. I used a ratiting machine from Bosch.
After the operation the deck became slippery, so I bought anti-slip matting,
which I glued on the deck.
It does no answer your question , why is it ble? Proably someone used a
solvent contained a bluish dyestuff, this tainted it nicely blueish.
If spite of those minor troubles I would buy the Vega , it it has been
properly inspected and approved by an expert.
Good luck,
Henk Jansen
