I sure hope you and the RYA are right, as I recall the boats in question in PBO and Yachting Monthly were US built boats (one a Crealock 34, truly a seaworthy boat), and it cost them an arm and a leg to get the RCD certification for Category A. At any rate I have had no problems so far.
