Recently motoring into Delaware Bay the autopilot quit. It was working perfectly for the previous 10 days from Lake Ontario to Cape May. Hit the Auto button, nothing. However now there is a message on the screen "Calibration Req'd"
Is this something an owner can do or must I get a tech to do it?

"Calibration" is the process of "teaching" the autopilot the compass headings. Check your manual. It involves turning in circles after setting the setup menu on the AP. When new, you should have had to do this, unless you bought the boat used with the ASP already installed. If you don't have the manual, download it from the Raymarine website.
