Raymarine Speed paddle wheel

While cleaning the crud off of my 19 year old Autohelm ST 50 speed paddle wheel the wheel crumbled.

Can just the paddle wheel be replaced and if so where can I find one? It looks like this is ( the ST 50) no longer supported by the manufacturer'

Or should I scrap the speed function and invest in a good GPS.

It seems like everytime I get underway I have to clean the transducer off anyway and I don't have a lot of confidence in it's reading anyhow.

Give Raymarine a call or send them an email through their website. If it can't be fixed, I know their ST60+ transducer is compatible with the ST50 instruments.

I usually just leave the plug in place, and leave the paddle out. The GPS tells me what I need to know about speed, and I never found the paddle wheel to show speed through the water very accurately, anyway.
