Raymarine P70 Control Head Gasket

I'm relocating my P70 control head from a horrible spot, however I'm struggling to find a replacement gasket. I contacted Raymarine directly, but was told they do not sell the gasket. I found a few gasket supply companies, but they are geared towards bulk orders and charge more for shipping than the gasket material. I could probably just use a silicon sealant, but I'd rather find a gasket material. Has anyone done this, or have any suggestions?

Did you try your local Raymarine Dealer? Also, ask the question on Raymarine's support forum..

Mcmaster.com has all sorts of gasket material. They sell reasonably sized material. Shipping is cheap. If you don't have luck finding a gasket you can run a thin ribbon of butyl tape around the circular portion at the back of the gauge and around each fastener hole. Waterproof and removable when necessary.

go to an auto supply store, they have all kinds of gasket material. Its easy to make your own gasket, use the old one as a template.
