I know nothing about supplying info to the Axiom 9 I have. I added course and speed as an option.
Raymarine says the Axiom needs speed from the speed wheel and cannot work from GPS speed.
The speed wheel I have is not Raymarine and I don't know how to connect it to the MFD.
There is 4 inputs to the MFD. I have auto pilot as well as wind but they are separate from the MFD.
I would like to add more functions but I don't know how.

Does your speed wheel have NMEA output?
I don't know it comes from a transmitter(wheel) in the bow and goes to the display. (not a Raymarine). It is wired to the display. It is a Standard Horizon display.

Hi. In simple terms, Your Axiom 9 gets the transducer data over the Seatalk network. You need to plug the transducer into the network.

One way is to wire the speed transducer to a Raymarine ITC-5 converter. The ITC-5 unit takes the transducer signals (sonar, speed etc) and converts them into a data stream. It then connects to your Seatalk network.

The Axiom gets the signal from the network and displays it on you screen.
