I'm replacing my chartplotter with one of the above. I have existing ST 60 speed and depth instruments and want them to connect. We will be going to the Bahamas later this year. Any recommendations?

I personally like Garmin, mainly because of the "route guidance" feature. One of my boats has all ST60 instruments, and I added a bi-directional SeaTalk Convertor to convert Seatalk1 to NMEA2000 for the Garmin 4000. I think the Raymarine might need a convertor anyway to convert the ST60 to the newer Seatalk. Never gave Raymarine a fair trial, so I may be living on a habit developed over years of mis-guided Garmin use.

I did a re-fit last year and went with the B&G (T7 , Zeus)..do yourself a favor... Google it.. the software is impressive,it's called "sail steer".. and somehow they figured out how to make it run on a fraction of the power as the other brands..not only is the software for their chartplotter better but last year and this year as well, they are running a special.. if you buy a T7 or better, they will give you a T41 (4x4 display ) for free.. which means you can have your charts up on the T7 and your wind ,speed and depth up on the T41..
