Well, it looks like our ancient ST4000 seems to have given up the ghost. I am not sure I have alot of interest in trying to resurrect it by scavenging parts off of Ebay and haunting resale shops. I have heard and read good things about the EV 100 Wheel pilot. Our boat is an '83 Hunter 31. The displacement is well within the limit for the Wheel Pilot. I have a small N2K network with a Garmin G wind instrument, a Simrad RS35 VHF AIS, and Garmin 541s, and a Digital Yacht Ikommunicate. My N2K network works flawlessly. There are no other wheel pilot options that integrate with the N2K network other than the Ray Marine. My question is that in bringing the seatalk into the N2k, do I need an adapter, a different cable or something else? My ST400 has been "stand alone" and I look forward to have some integration.
