I have a 1981 Catalina 27 with a universal diesel engine. The ball valve on the sea cock going to the water pump seems to be broken. The discharge water through exhaust is the same if the valve is in the closed or open position. This water cools the fresh water via a heat exchanger. Is there another sea cock for the raw water that I don't know about? The sea cock that is in question is located just aft of the engine on the starboard side.
