Remember a year or so ago there were many posts about how to stop the mast head light wire/radio coax rattling away on those really nice a peacefull evenings moored in some quite location. The suggestion by a few was to pull out the wires (having attached a lead line) and attach ZIP ties, three in a cluster (forms like a triangle shape)every foot or so. So they centre the wires in the mast. Well with nothing much to do the other night I did the job. Took about half an hour and the result is perfect. Not a noise!

Do you have the same problem? What you do is unwire the mast head light etc. Attach a draw line to it. Must be very secure. Pull wire out at mast base. Once you get the end out attach three zip ties along the wire, hard up against each other but forming a triangular pattern. Move down the wire about 280mm and repeat. Repeat this procedure al the way down the wire every 280mm. Then draw the wire back through the mast and reconnect mast head lights etc. If you have a fax number I would be more than happy to send a drawing over. Regards
