Rasmus Keel/Rudder Cracking

Hi, I have my boat hauled out for the winter. I noticed on the trailing edge of the keel a horizontal crack through the bottom paint about one foot in length. Water is seeping from the crack. I also have a vertical crack on the rudder. We have had a couple nights of below freezing weather. Anyone have any ideas as to what is happening and any remedy? Thanks In Advance! I`m new to the forum.First reply for me. I have a pic`that may be of interest to you.This Rasmus rudder has no putty between fittings and "deadwood" and shows clearly how the fastenings are placed.The cracks in your rudder parts may just be caused by movement, if the fittings are filled with putty as mine were. Hope this is of help.All the best.
