raritan phII head

i have a '78 cat 30 and was looking to replace the head with a raritan PHII with the household bowl. just wondering if anyone else has one and how it fits. i got the dimensions off the raritan site and i'm going to make sure i can fit it in but i was wondering more about when you are sitting on it if there is enough room in the front of it for your knees and to move around. or would i be safer with the smaller marine bowl?
