Defender is selling a Raritan PH SuperFlush Manual Toilet with Slow Close Lid (http://www.defender.com/product3.jsp?id=3213301). They say it's a Raritan Model P101, but I can't find anything on the Raritan site (or just about anywhere else) about a P101. It sure looks like a regular PHC, but it says the base is modified to fit the bolt pattern of other manual toilets (like the Jabsco I want to replace).

Is this something brand new, or real old, or just funny? If it's for real it's sure real tempting.

The SuperFlush is the new version of the PHC. I knew it was coming, but didn't know any retailers had it stock yet.

Raritan has replaced the original PHC base--which was the base for their Compact II (discontinued when they introduced the PHC)--with the same base as their Fresh Head Raritan Fresh Head, which has the same mounting bolt pattern as the Jabsco manual, making both the PHC SuperFlush and the Fresh Head "plug and play" upgrade/replacements for the Jabsco. The PHC SuperFlush still uses the PHII pump, which has a different intake and discharge from the Jabsco. It's not on the Raritan website yet and who knows when it will be because their website is undergoing a total renovation.

So if you were going for a PHC, you'll like PHC SuperFlush even better.

That is excellent news! Thanks for the info, as always.

Installed it this weekend. Pretty easy job, except I clamped the waste hose on before securing the outlet fitting so that leaked at first. Luckily I did testing with fresh water first! Did it the right way: tighten outlet fitting first, then attach waste hose-no leaks.

Also ran new Trident 101 hose from the head to the holding tank. No big surprise: already smells better! Didn't have enough hose left to also replace from tank to pump out, but that will happen soon. Also want to replace from macerator outlet to thru hull. Little by little making things better.
