Raritan Fresh Head

Curious if anyone has actually bought/installed/used the new Raritan "Fresh Head" yet. I'm about to pull the cord on replacing my 30 year old Groco HF and am contemplating the fresh water flush.
The thought of connecting my fresh water plumbing directly to the head triggers all my red flag senses but I do understand that is what it is specifically designed to do. I also see it uses the same joker and flapper valves that many other heads use:

I haven't done the sink drain to head inlet tee that many here have done and recommend. My sink drains to a thru hull above the water line so I'd have to use the existing head inlet thru hull and an extra valve and a bunch of fittings in a tight space.
Anyone recommend the Fresh Head?

I am seriously considering it. The current wm catalog does not seem to have it. Where have you found one. I can think of no negatives. We get back to the slip often enough to fill the tanks.

Connecting a sea water toilet to a sink drain line only works on boats on which the drain thru-hull is below waterline. Since your sink drain thru-hulls are above waterline, it won't work on your boat.

The Fresh Head, like all Raritan toilets, is excellent quality that works as advertised and will rarely if ever have problems. On those rare occasions that something doesn't work right, Raritan stands behind it and will take care of it, sometimes even after it's out of warranty if it's something that that you didn't cause that shouldn't have happened. Raritan and Groco are the only toilet manufacturers left about whom that can be said. Every other manufacturer is now only building "disposable" equipment. So you won't be sorry if you go with the Fresh Head as long as you install, operate and maintain it according to directions.

I appreciate your concern about connecting a toilet to your potable water system, but it IS safe to connect any toilet to your fresh water system that's *designed by the mfr* to use onboard pressurized water...there's never been a problem with any, from any mfr, in the nearly 30 years they've been on the market.

Go for it...you'll love it!
