We had an amazing show of bald eagles at our lake this weekend! They tend to spend time out there during the winter when no one is around. Usually only a handful though! This time it was close to 300!

That is an awesome sight.

I take part in an annual eagle count here in Canada and we had a great numbers. 500 visitors stopped to see the eagles just in Brackendale at one point. This count there were alot of juvenile eagles which is a strong sign for the species.
It was cold this morning they are puffed up like turkeys waiting for the sun.
