I recently found a company that was willing to make me replacement hatch slide tracks for my Ranger 28. They make them in both teak and a UV resistant HDPE plastic-type material. I choose the HDPE because I am lazy and like my teak on the inside of the boat where it lasts longer. The cost was $80 and it took me about one hour to install them. I had them cut the track to be more rectangular in cross section (as opposed to the original crescent shape) for better strength, so I had to modify the sea hood where the hatch tracks pass through with a dermal tool but, that was easy. They look great! If interested, the company is Idasailor Marine. Cheers, David. http://www.idasailor.com/
