Ranger 26 mark 2 PHRF rating

I have a ranger 26 mk 2 fractional rig 1979 model and am looking for a PHRF rating. They want to give me the normal 26 rating, but they can not be the same. Can anyone help me out?! They only made 35 of these trailerable boats. A picture is on my web site givenscanvas.commike

Hi Mike, did you fill out the phrf application form with all the numbers, measurements, sails etc.? You may need to call your local handicapper and explain your's is the much rarer Mk II. They may not have it in their data base. Even then you'll probably only get a provisional handicap subject to adjustment. I'm not sure but is GB (Galveston Bay) your local PHRF? By the way So. Cal phrf list it as 204 secs/mile..6 secs slower than the 1969 R-26. There's a clue. Hope it helps, Howard
