With a 35 gallon diesel tank. Is there a particular rule of thumb, where one can calculate, the range a C36 can travel assuming an average RPM. By the way I have a the M25 engine 21Hsrpwr Universal. Example might be: running the engine at 2000 rpm, how many hours would 35 gallons last, or at 5 knots assuming zero current how many nautical miles could one travel. Thanks Jgarabedian@attbi.com

I usually get about 1/2 gph

I usually will burn about .5 gph when motoring around (at 2200 RPM). So that generally equates to about 70 hours motoring time. This gets me about 6 - 6.5 kts. So you are in the 350 - 500 mile range, give or take a few. Les Murray s/v Ceilidh '86 C-36 #560
