Raitan Lectra-san salt water tank

I have just purchased my third 2 ga. salt water tank for my Lectra-san unit. Has anyone else had problems with the tank splitting and cracking at the corners? Is there a resolution to the problem? Can the tank be reinforced in some way?

Never heard of that happening before

You need to talk to Raritan to find out what's causing it. Give Vic Willman a call...he's their tech services manager, been there 36 years and has seen/heard EVERYthing about everything Raritan has ever made. Talk ONLY to him. 800-352-5630 x 6

Salt feed tank

Thanks Vic and Peggy. I was considering reinforcing the corners with fiberglass but feared that that might desolve the material of the tank.. Incidently Vic I want to thank you for all the advice given regarding my Lectra-san and Sea era head, I have not reinstalled it completely yet but your advice was most helpfull, thatnks again.
