Raising Mariner Mast Singlehanded

Just bought my boat and would like to be able to raise the mast by myself. I'm trailering so I'll be doing this pretty often. I have already added the style of tabernacle that has a bracket attached to the bottom of the mast and a matching bracket attached to the top of the cabin and two pivot pins. If I'm standing on the cockpit floor while holding the mast,I can't make the step to the side to the seat and definitly not to the top of the cabin. Even if I could push the mast over center from the cockpit floor, I would need to have some way to hold the mast until I could attach the front stay. I've got to believe that coming down will be even more challenging. Please let me know if you have a system and if I need some additional hardware.

O'Day Mariner Mast Raising System

George, you might want to take a look at the set-up for the 240 that was recently posted. Perhaps it could be adapted to your boat?

His website has a nice system that he made to accomplish this same thing. I do not have a link for it. Craig
