Rain water into cabin

I am very much enjoying my 6 year relationship with my 1999 Oceanis Clipper.
Except for one on going problem.
I have rainwater entering the cabin on the port side midships between the two portholes. Where the water comes in is higher than the chain plates, So I am thinking it is not the chain pates.

I have used a box fan and soapy water in an attempt to locate the leak to no avail.

Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks
STEVEN

Cabin top hatch gaskets leaking finding its way into your liner and over to the side? Look for signs of water stains on the inside of your hatches.

I'd look at all the fittings secured to the cabin top such as line organizers, hand holds. The leak should be in close proximity to the source.

I had a similar problem with my Hunter. The way I found the leak I took a hose and went around all the hatches and any possible place water could enter and had my wife inside the boat watching for water entering the boat. It ended up a port leaking in a spot that I never figured the water could entering. It was dripping out in the boat not even by the port that was leaking.
