The last tow big rain storms we had here in San Diego each left an inch or two or rain water in my 1983 C30 bilge. About 8 gallons. Any one know how it might get there? I have a deck stepped mast. No hatches open. If there is not any rain the bilge stays fairly dry. Chip

check your cockpit drain hoses to make sure they are in good shape. I have had water leak in around the rudder head and also the hinge screws in the three cockpit lockers. Use a water soluble marker and make lines across the locker area bottoms from stem to stern then after a rain you should be able to see where the water has flowed in and washed the marker away. be persistant and methodical and you'll find the leaks
