How to build a circle
Hi Jeff, It's not as difficult as it looks, just takes a bit of coordination. Our commodore has become very good at this. Start with four boats at four compass points,N,S,E,and W. Each boat puts out bow and stern anchors with lots of rode. Then you can start building from each anchor boat on their port side. The boat thats tied puts their fenders to port, while the boat coming along side hands their lines to starboard. The size of the circle can be adjusted as you go with the four anchor boats. You should be able to get four boats tied every 15 minutes or so. This raft took us about 4 hours to build. After you have your circle closed, just take out a bow anchor from every other boat and pop open a cold one. Fun for the whole family. Carl
