Radome mast installation

Looking to see how high folks have installed their radome on the mast. Spreader high for instance? The fractional rig is what has me a little perplexed. I dont want to create too much interference with the genny.

Was advised to use a sail guard? to help ease the sails around the dome.

Dealer Installed Mine

When Dreamboat was launched new in 2003 the dealer mounted the radar dome a little above half way between the lower and upper spreaders, and they did install a sail guard underneath the dome.

Ours is mounted closer to the upper spreader. It does not have a guard. We only fly a jib no genoa. Never had any issue with jib sheets.
