I just bought an "in dash" radio for my 23.5. I can't figure out where to mount it. I was thinking of under the sink or under the bridgedeck. The speakers are another issue all together. I have NO IDEA where to mount them. Where do you have your radio and speakers mounted? Thanks, Mike

Keep it all...

inside the cabin with the speakers pointed aft. Keep it all dry and you'll be very happy.

Aft of the Battery

I put my cd player aft of the battery, facing aft. I moved my battery fwd about 2 inches when I ran AC ducting under the settee. The remote still works from anywhere in the boat since the IR signal is well reflected by the shiny fiberglass in the aft berth. And all I need to do to use it from the cockpit is stick my hand through the companionway and point the remote down. As far as the speakers, I put 2 under the settees in the cabin (see link to photo forum, "cabin vent" picture) and put 2 under the stern rail seats.
