Racor 200 FG Fuel Filter/Water Separater - Now O-Rings in Drain Valve Replacement

For 4 years the self venting drain value at the bottom of the Racor 200 FG was constantly damp with fuel even after I tightened it - as tight as I dare. Air in the Racor has been an increasing issue and became a major one at the end of last summer. In May, I replaced the old copper fuel lines and today I am going to install a new drain value. See pic

To my surprise the drain value arrived last Friday with no O-ring so I swung buy a few parts shops and pick up a variety of rings that appear to fit on the new drain. See pics of those rings on the new value and the selection in another photo.

Anyone have this problem or go through this process. Seems straight forward but then I have not started the job.

Wrong Part arrived. I gave the supplier the Racor part number (11780) and I noticed the difference (30476) but figured it was a updated product.

There are some serious differences like one is right-hand tightening the other is left-hand tightening.

Best I can do for now is to visit a few diesel shops and see if I can replace the 2 O Rings on the drain that is constantly damp with fuel. One is visible in the photo and the other is on the piece in between the 2 drains.

damp with fuel.

Got a dry plug. Applied Harvey TFE Pipe Paste on threads and did a very big tight install. 3 days later and no detectable dampness.
