There are 16 C-22's of all generations signed up so far, so it would be a GREAT chance to get together for some fun low key racing. I'm not a racer, but I do enjoy seeing if I can pull away from someone that comes along side me. Besides, my boat doesn't meet the C-22 rules. But, these will be fun low key races, run what you brought, and we'll discuss your infractions before the race committee at 3:00 AM on the bottom of Thompson Bay.
Also, if you've signed up to attend, don't forget you need to register! The registration web site is now open, and now you'll be able to order your Havasu shirts, hats, and all kinds of neat stuff to help support this event. Also, don't forget you'll need proof of $300K liability insurance, check out the web site for all the information, this is normally the basic liability coverage on most policies . If you need to get with your insurance agent, don't wait until the day before you leave.
