It is with a sad heart that I have just found out that effective August 1, 2007, American Marine and Sail is no longer a Hunter dealer. Don't know the exact reason why as Mr. Condon wouldn't discuss it, but it should be noted that American Marine and Sail has been a consistant award winner for Hunter from 1989 to 2006. He did want to make sure that I mentioned that although he won't be selling Hunter's any longer he is an avid supporter of the Hunter product as they have a very good product and provide excellent customer service. Rest in peace "Crazy Dave", rest in peace.

A Real Shame

Shame on Hunter for letting Dave get away. He's one of the good guys and from my couple of conversations with him over the last few months it seems he and Hunter couldn't agree on a few things. As I said it's a shame cause Dave gave Hunter a good name in Eastern NC and apparently fairly far afield and has sold a lot of boats and helped a lot of people whether they actually bought a boat from him or not.

He is what every boat dealer or broker should aspire to.

I found Dave to be a first-rate fellow, an excellent negotiator, an honest broker, and tops with customer service. For a dealer in the middle of the woods of Carolina, he sold a lot of boats for Hunter.

Shame on you Dog! I saw your subject and thought

that Dave had passed away! I had heard rumblings about this possibility and agree with all here. Dave is a first rate guy and provides Super customer service. When a gentleman here in N. Alabama had issues with getting service from more nearby Catalina dealer(s) in the purchase of a new 250, Dave bent over backwards to help. He negotiated what sounded like a very nice deal, delivered the boat himself and addressed any issues that came up. Hunter has lost a great dealer.
