The April 2004 issue of "Blue Water Sailing" features a six page article entitled "Heading for the ICE", it is part 1 of a 2 part series on Jarle Andhoey's voyage to Antarctica aboard his Vega "Berserk". Chuck, if you are interested, I can send it to for inclusion in the AVA newsletter or whatever you deem appropriate. It is of course in English. I also have copies of the German version which came out eons ago.

Yes Frank, by all means please do. I've sent several emails to the Wild Vikings trying to get more information and copies of their DVD but the only response I've gotten was one email telling me that the boys were out a viking and would get back to me later. If you could, please include contact info so I can request permission to re-print copyrighted material(Though I don't treally think it will be a problem).

Thanks,

Chuck

Chuck,
I'll get the article out today. I don't have any contact information. I don't even have the magazine anymore (I tore the pages out of the mag). However if you mean the magazine itself, they can be contacted at www.bwsailing.com

Thanks Frank.

(I would say "Mahalo nui, e' malama pono" but I've been criticized for using Hawaiian language in my correspondence, a habit I've gotten into living and working in Hawaii for thirty years, so I'm trying to avoid it.)

Regards,

Chuck

Hallo Frank,
könntest Du mir den Artikel auf deutsch mailen? Das wäre nett, dann könnten
wir den auch in die Vega-Mitteilungen reinnehmen.
Gruß
Jan

Talofa Chuck! It isn't Hawaiian, but I'll bet you know what it means. Too bad there is so much intolerance. I personally have NEVER met anyone who was multi-lingual or with interests in foreign languages, who wished he could "only speak English". I personally speak several languages fluently, and refuse to let anyone tell me what I can or should not speak. The only reason I speak other languages is because I CAN! It is their problem not yours. No reason to apologize for your interests. "Parva leves capiunt animas" - Small minds concern themselves with trifles. Enough of that prattle.
