Nice ...

You're getting the snow we were supposed to get! This actually reminded me of Sugarloaf!

So, D: You're growing your own Sugarloaf

Good one Maine Sail ! I would guess C but I really don't care as in any case it's too cold and too ugly to even spend time figuring it out ! Avoiding contact with the like of that is why I became a snowbird years ago. Hopefully you'll get an early Spring.

D: Your scaled snow-replica of Mt.Katahdin.
I think we have a winner...!

Oh and yes that is the corner of the door frame for our laundry room between the outdoor shower and the bow of the boat. er snow, er igloo.... BTW that boat is on a trailer and has our 9' AB RIB upside down on top of it fully inflated...... I don't think I'll get it out til July at this point....:D

P.S. Scott we were at the loaf last weekend and we actually have more snow here than they do up there. Skiing was great though!!

Oh and for the first time in about 9 years the bay has frozen all the way to Chebeague Island. This is Sturdivant Island and behind it is Chebeague. There is a pretty strong current running between Sturdivant and our beach yet it still froze solid enough for snow to accumulate..... Hoping my moorings winter-stick stays put when the ice flows.....

Answer: None of the above.

That is a picture of where NOT to live.

I took my boat out on Saturday. The sun was shining, the winds were light at 5-6 knots, the temperature was in the low 60s, and the beer in the reefer was cold.

Cheers

Cold beer in the reefer is not a big deal. I bet Maine Sail has cold beer too but unfortunately can't get to it until July. I feel sorry you guys/gals up north, we feel your pain.

We do miss the snow. But collecting conch on the flats yesterday wasn't a bad alternative. Cleaning the conch today.

Just so you don't get too jealous, it was only in the 70s today!

That would make the lobstering a bit easier. Just walk out there and pick em up.
