Applied copper pipe insulation tubes into my mast to silence the Bell Clapping from the newly installed radio antenna coaxial cable! Good solution or mistake and future problems? PS: The tubes did eliminate the noise...
Clever idea....Does the insulation absorb water? Did you run the wires throught the center of the insulation or is it enough that the insulation occupies most of the space inside the mast and the wires do not have room to slap around?

CABBY & Trinkka, Thanks for the positive comments... Insulation does not absorb H20. We just pushed the insulation up the mast and used duct tape at 6' section joints. Had to remove the one through mast bolt at the spreader and reinstall after application. Used 1/2" copper Insulation.
