Craig - Boston

Greetings- I race a Mariner (19') in a local PHRF class and am looking to upgrade my sails this year. The OEM sail for the Mariner was Neil Pryde in 1976. I think it still is. Any other O'Day owners had experience with any major (Doyle, Shore) or local sail lofts? Will I notice any difference between local loft or major loft at this level of boat (not exactly a J/105)? Who do you use for sails? Thanks for your comments in advance. Regards, Craig

Just purchased a set...

for my 272LE from Cruising Direct in Portsmouth, RI. Just a little over $1,200.00 for the main and RF headsail. High quality and perfect fit. Cheers, Bob

W. Lee Sails

I just found an outfitter in here in WI, via recommendation. Fair prices, excellent work, and a reputation that preceeds him. Has been at it for decades, seems to specialize in racing sails. Talked to him for hours when I took mine in to have them looked at. Original sails on a 1979, but apart from needing new battens, he found little wrong with them. Fine for cruising he said. Sailboat was used little I guess! W. Lee Sails 1514 Scott Road Port Washington, WI 53074 414-284-4116 Area codes around here changed recently, 414 is probably 262 now. Josh
