Hello to all and thanks in advance for any help y'all might be able to give. I have to replace one of the reef line locking levers on my N26 Isomat boom. They are mounted on that stainless shaft you see circled in the picture below. I don't know how to get that shaft out? There doesn't seem to be any obvious thing locking it in. Has anybody had to perform this task? It looks like maybe it could just be driven or pressed out but I was hoping one of y'all might have traveled this road before me and could guide me before, if past history is a predictor of future failure, I break something LOL.
Once again, Thank You

This link may give you an idea about how it's put together: https://www.technique-greement.com/17394-embouts-de-bome-pour-bome-zspars-z204.html. Look for cotter pins or retaining rings on the inside too though, since it's obviously not the same casting. It looks like they have moved to a different design in the cam department too. If the SS axle has been there a while, you may need a BIG hammer and punch to get it to move. Don't crack the aluminum casting!!!! Try a WD40 and/or other loosening baths first. New cams might have to be made at a machine shop, though that shouldn't be too pricey if you can show them what you need. They might even be able to make new cams up in ss as well.

Have not traveled that road before but it looks like the part may be NB1-12 at Rig-Rite which is knurled at one end but not the other. Based on that I assume you would want to see if you can tell which end in your gooseneck is knurled and then drive or press it out from the other side, Easier said than done I am sure.. Lots of Kroil or PB Blaster and maybe a little heat. All the caveats that PaulK mentioned apply.

Good luck and please post back about how it goes.
