Question for Victron BMV-600S Battery Monitor Users

Hi,

I installed a Victron BMV-600S battery monitor this year. I tried to program it this weekend but had some problems.

I would hold "setup" button for 3 seconds and then it would go to the programing menu. I would scroll to the "Cb" screen. Then I would press the "select" button but nothing would happen. The last "0" should have started flashing so I could set the battery capacity size.

Same thing with the "Pk" screen.

Any suggestions?

Once in the Cb screen did you try pressing + or - ? Try to cancel out of programming, then do a manual re-set by pressing + & - together than try it again...

IIRC, when these first came out there was a post about the inline fuses being somewhat dodgy. The poster replaced the fuse and/or fuseholder and all was well. Don't know how this could contribute to your issue, but...

And further to MS's reply, with all computer-type stuff, reboot usually works, so if his idea doesn't work, disconnect and start over.
