Like others with Catalina 30 tall rigs, I have found that when the apparent wind goes over about 15 knots,it pays to put a reef in the main and keep the full 150 genoa.
1. At what point have you found it helpful to change down to a #2 (say, a 135)?
2. Would you change to a #2 before putting a second reef in the main?
