Question: can teak be sealed to protect it?

We are purchasing a new Hunter. Is it possible (or advisable?) to treat the teak in the cabin with some kind of "sealer/protector"?

HelloThis time I am tackling the same problem on a newly sanded and Teka a/B cleaned 15 year old interior with lemon oil. Most oils turn dark with time.. and that is what you want to avoid.. applying any darkening agent. so what does Hunter say? .
