My 2004 Hunter 36 has the engine panel that looks like the picture above. I had a couple of questions;

1. I believe it has a rubber gasket - does anyone know where to get a new gasket?

2. I believe there is a red and a white wire on the ignition switch that activates the starter solenoid - can anyone confirm that? Do you know how they are attached to the switch? Screw terminals? Spade connectors?

Thanks,
Andy

Thanks. That link was very useful and I was able to find what I hope is the right gasket - Yanmar 128391-91700 - at Toad Marine.

I didn't see info about the panel wiring but I was in a bit of rush and maybe I missed it. I'll check again tomorrow.

Regards,
Andy

Just a quick update for anyone who owns a similar Hunter 36 with this panel. When I removed my panel there was no gasket attached. When I added my new gasket and tried to reinstall the panel it wouldn't fit. The panel is so tight in the recess that there is no room for the gasket. Very odd design.
