im looking for some information on a quest kit boat that was offered by the manufacturer on a 1984 37' hunter sloop. any info on weather there is any or how much difference in this boat compared to one that was finished by hunter.

Quest 33

My family bought a quest33 from Hunter and finished it ourselves. All Hunter supplied was the bare hull and deck with motor, fuel tank, 1 battery, and standing/running rigging and sails. There were no inner liner parts except the overhead. The basic structure of the boat was very solid.

Sloop or cutter?

Interesting Tom, that there was a 37' Quest kit in 1984. The only Hunter mold for 37 feet from 1979 to 1985, I thought, was for the H37C that many of us own. And you say this one is a sloop? I can tell you that the H37C hull is one very solid platform.Maybe you should post this over on the Cherubini forum. JC2(John Cherubini II) might be able to shed some light, he often visits there.
