Ed, I put one on my 380 after selling my 280. I would not own a boat without a PSS dripless stufing box again. It's not expensive, but the labor to install is more that the product itself. Any boatyard can install one in a couple of hours. Just do it... I dry bilge is a beautiful (read non- stinky) thing! Bob Knott H380
Dear Ed: Most boat yards about the US have had some experience with the PSS shaft seal and what is required for an installation. I’m not aware of an installer within Jersey City itself but I’m not completely aware of your area so it is difficult to say who we would recommend. The installation usually takes apx. a hour once the shaft has been removed from the coupling.
