Putting flotation in a Daysiler

Having just learned the difference between the Daysailer, I and II. I wonder if it's possible to add flotation under the seats of a Daysailer thereby giving it the safety characteristics of a Daysiler II???

I know that a lot of people insert pool noodles under the seats.

Thanks for the info. My marina is redoing their docks, so I may be able to use some dock flotation. The noodles sound like an easier install.
