Nice boat

I have a 1988 302. This is a nice boat with a comfortable layout. I've never had anything break. There are stories around about keels falling off. Perhaps this has happened or perhaps it's just an urban fable. Never had any problems with my keel. Good Boat

I, too, have an 88 O'Day 302. Graduated up from a 240. I love this bigger boat. Easy to sail. Points well. Have had no major maintenance issues. The keel hasn't fallen off. Plenty of room inside for a 30-footer. Well laid out. I put new cushions and foam inside to replace the 17 year old upholstery and foam -- made all the difference. I've owned an O'Day since 1990 -- I think they made good boats that hold up well. If it's in good shape and a good price -- go for it.
