Well tomorrows the day. We purchase our 30 foot O'Day in New Bern NC. Hopefully we can get her out this weekend. We have a lot to learn about the boat the systems sails electonics and mechanicals. We are looking forward to it. I will let you all know how it is going.

Wouldn't you know it I am on my way down to close on the boat, and planned on sailing this afternoon. However we are having a monsoon in ENC today and tomorrow. I guess I will have to wait until the weekend . I should probably go by and check the bilge.

I'm over off the Pamlico River about a days sail from you. I bought my O28 in the New Bern area last year.

Northwest Creek Marina

Hi Tom We made the purchase yesterday. We will be on board Saturday morning sorting through all the gear the previous owner has brought aboard. I am thrilled to own the boat, however the seller really did not want to let her go. Do to health concerns he had no choice. He lives up the street from the Marina so I am sure I will always have a crew. We most likely will stay in the Neuse River area for the winter and maybe venture to various overnight spots in the spring The boat is just oustanding and it looks new rather then the 32 years she has on her. Hopefully we can make up to the Bell Haven area or meet you by the Indian Islands.
