PuraSan will work with ANY toilet...
When it was first introduced in the early '90s, it was only certified by the USCG for use with 3 Raritan toilets...then certified for use with ANY macerating electric toilet...and finally for use with any toilet, manual OR electric. It's a CG Certified Type I MSD, legal on boats under 66'. And although the PuraSan was designed for use in fresh water and with toilets that use pressurized flush water, it will work equally well in salt water.
If your toilet has been neglected, it's a strong bet that you'll need a new halogen cartridge for it. Those are almost impossible to get except directly from Raritan because it has to be shipped HAZMAT, and no retailer wants to mess with that because of the amount of paperwork involved. Brace yourself...that cartridge will cost you close to $!00 including shipping. Depending on how much you use your boat and the length of your season, it'll last at least a season maybe two. The good news is, if you're using the PuraSan you're not paying for tank chemicals and pumpouts...so the net cost of the cartridge isn't really THAT bad.
If you need a manual for it, you can download and print one from here:
