I used Laishley Park for ramp, slip, and a port to sail from and return to. http://www.laishleymarina.com/ Safe, clean, free parking, and pretty. Spent most of Jan. on Charlotte harbor and bay. Go to 26.4n 82.13W for a cheeseburger in paradise, turn immediately at intercoastal marker 60. And WOW for Cayo Costa! http://www.floridastateparks.org/cayocosta/

All free. Left the suv and trailer in lot for several days at a time. Free reserved parking spots close to free day room for slip renters.
