We have been toying with the idea of switching out our porti-pottie with one that can be pumped. It is a long way to dump the container and nobody wants to be the one to do it in the first place, go figure. Here is the wrinkle the space under the v berth is 13.5" high the porti-pottie is 15.5". At first I gave up on the idea and then I thought that if we remove the top when we use the berth it will still work. Yesterday while moving my batteries to the locker under the v berth (big difference but a story for later) I noticed there is a big space between the floor pan and the top of the ballast tank. I am not sure I have the brass gonads to cut the hole in the floor pan so that the pottie can sit on top of the ballast tank and still fit under the platform but that was what I was thinking of. Any one else seen this or done this it is probably a good question for Ol' Crazy Dave if has the time. I wince every time I drill a quarter inch hole to mount something doing this may give me a stroke.
