We replaced the bearings in ours on our QM-16 without much trouble. The were readily available. If you have a sample I can probably get you the name of the place I bought mine. they have them in stock here in CT elmergw@99main.com
My pump has rusted through the housing in a couple of places. I dont think marine tex would even help.I had five rusted ball bearings fall out of the pump when I took it off Along with a pile of unrecognizable pieces and parts and sludge. New pump time.
