My pulpit was damaged when my 1983 H34 was being delivered by the previous owner. I would like to replace it but can't find anyone that would have one in stock. Any ideas?

pulpit repair

You can repair stainless steel railing (sometimes) using a spanish windlass, If the stainless is without a "kink". To effectively use a windlass, wrap the affected area with a rag and place a small piece of angle iron over the area you need to pull back. Then find an anchor point and secure a rope around the stainless railing and the anchor point (making a loop). Place a metal bar (rebar is usually the easiest to find) thru the middle of the rope and twist it (pulling the opposing forces towards each other----until the desired shape is aquired. This will not always be effective if the proper angle can not be attained. Good luck!!!!! Gary
