Yeee HA!

Watching the snail pace like movement for 3 days, from there to here,
oh my 3 days is FOREVER.

I can't see the front door so I'm furiously checking website tracking and peeking out the window every 20 and ....website says its in town!!!!

Ooooooo I'm pee pants excited and practically drooling and I go get coffee and at the window WHITE TRUCK!!!!! my that's a flat little box for a (relatively) BIG sail! Modern vacuum tech - hurry up guy!

I almost rip the thing from the guys hand while giving a zillion thanks furiously rip open the package and.....

turtle bag.

Sail makers are sadist I swear.

Boy, are you lucky, another chance to practice patience and handling disappointment. :)

My sailmaker sent an email today, my sail is on its way from South Africa. It should be here before someone decides to put tariffs on sails from SA.

CAL 35 Cruiser #21 moored EVERETT WA
I know the feeling. I waited 5.5 weeks. I just happened to be in Seattle near the sail loft. I was told by staff that the sail was there but they had not unpacked it. So I sailed back to my home port in Everett. Late that afternoon I got a call from the manager. He wanted to come by the next morning and see if the sail fits. I said of course YES. Then I just had to wait another 14 hours. It was better to wait than to drive the 5 hours home. It was well worth the wait.
